LUFA-ITL GmbH is becoming AGROLAB LUFA GmbH – highlighting our affiliation to the AGROLAB GROUP
LUFA-ITL will now bear the name AGROLAB LUFA GmbH after more than 140 years after its foundation. The food laboratory has been part of the AGROLAB GROUP for 17 years. Now, finally, this name is being communicated to the outside world.
AGROLAB features in the “TOP 100” German middle class companies once again
For the seventh time, the AGROLAB GROUP is among the 100 middle class companies in Germany with the highest growth. AGROLAB was even able to place 3rd in the “Service and Trade” sector. This is the result of the “TOP 100 middle class companies 2018” study, carried out by consulting firm Munich Strategy.
Pesticide analysis: Matrine and oxymatrine integrated in the residue portfolio
The „GOLD“ and „PLATIN“ packages have been amended by the actives matrine and oxamatrine due to market demands recently. It comprises the multi-methods for the examination of fresh fruit, vegetables and potatoes.

The AGROLAB laboratory LUFA-ITL GmbH receives VLOG approval
The AGROLAB laboratory LUFA-ITL GmbH in Kiel has successfully completed the procedure for VLOG approval. Therefore, AGROLAB continues to meet the requirements for a laboratory for the "VLOG-geprüft" labeling of your feed in the context of the new "Ohne Gentechnik" production and certification standard V19.01.

According to studies by German BfR (Federal Institute for Risk Assessment) the number of food-borne diseases caused by virus, steadily increases.
Successful participation in a proficiency program for testing GMO
In April 2018, the US Department again initiated the USDA / AMS / FGIS Proficiency Program. The LUFA-ITL GmbH in Kiel has successfully participated in screening procedures for three soy and corn events.

AGROLAB MEETS GMP+ REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ANALYSIS OF FEED UNDER THE NEW “GMO CONTROLLED” STANDARD
In August 2018, GMP+ published the new “GMP+ MI 105 GMO Controlled” standard. This is part of the Feed Responsibility Assurance module and offers businesses in the animal feed chain the opportunity to respond to the growing demand for non-GMO animal feed.

Our laboratory AGROLAB Italia announced having successfully passed the latest BNN proficiency test for its pesticide residue screening for ecologically products for the several new methods.
EU COURT DECIDED: NOVEL GENOME EDITING METHODS WILL CREATE GMOS
The EU Court of Justice has ruled that plants and animals created using novel genome editing methods like CRISPR/Cas9 will be classed as genetically modified organisms and therefore have to follow the strict EU guidelines for GMOs.

French spice control found issues in 50% of all samples
Adulteration of spices was detected by the French authorities in half of the samples taken from the market which shows a high fraud potential in this product group.
