Fuel and combustion fuel analyses

Fuel Analyses
Our comprehensive fuel analyses cover all key parameters to ensure quality and safety:
- Diesel: Testing according to EN 590, including cetane number, cold behavior, sulfur content, and microbial contamination such as diesel bug.
- Gasoline (petrol fuels): Analysis according to EN 228, e.g. for octane number, oxygen content, vapor pressure, aromatic content, and boiling behavior.
- HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil): Testing based on EN 15940 to ensure purity and suitability (e.g. cetane number, cold behavior).
- Biodiesel (FAME): Quality control in accordance with EN 14214, focusing on oxidation stability, residual methanol, and impurities.
- Bioethanol: Testing according to EN 15376 for purity and production-related residues.

Combustion Fuel Analyses for Heating and Burner Fuels
We test all relevant combustion fuels to ensure quality and safety in application:
- Extra-light heating oil (HEL): Testing of key parameters such as sulfur content and marker content (e.g. butoxybenzene or Accutrace plus), carried out on request and in accordance with applicable local standards.
- Residual heating oils: Analysis focusing on water content, ash content, and other impurities, performed on request and in accordance with applicable local standards.

Quality Testing for Fuels and Combustion Fuels: Why It Matters
Contamination, aging, or non-compliant components can have serious consequences:
- Damage risks: Contaminated fuels can harm engines and heating systems.
- Loss of efficiency: Low-quality fuels increase consumption and reduce performance.
- Regulatory requirements: Our tests help you comply with national and international standards such as EN 590, EN 228, and other applicable regulations.
We help you prevent damage before it occurs.
