150 Years AGROLAB LUFA Kiel
Tradition meets modernity - AGROLAB looks back with pride on 150 years of successful research and analysis in the service of agriculture and food industry. The "Landwirtschaftliche Untersuchungs- und Forschungsanstalt" (LUFA) in Kiel, which emerged from the former agricultural chemical testing station, started its work 150 years ago and is now one of the largest private feed and food laboratories in Europe.
AGROLAB passes USDA international laboratory test with flying colours
In the USDA Federal Grain Inspection Service's laboratory proficiency test "Biotechnology Proficiency Program April 2021", 125 laboratories worldwide participated to demonstrate their proficiency in identifying and quantifying GMO plants.
AGROLAB LUFA designated as official laboratory in Schleswig-Holstein according to Art. 37 VO (EU) 2017/625
AGROLAB LUFA GmbH in Kiel has received the initial designation to carry out official controls on the basis of Regulation (EC) No. 834/2007 in conjunction with Regulation (EC) 2017/625 (EU Control Regulation).
