The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food has published its long-awaited 2024 Spanish Food Consumption Report, which details the Spanish population's food habits, volumes, preferences, and trends.

 

The 2024 Food Consumption Report confirms a reality that was already suspected: consumers are prioritizing fresh, safe, and value-added foods, while new home technologies, such as air fryers, and more demanding purchasing practices are becoming more popular. In the face of these new behaviours demands for quality, traceability, and safety are also growing.
