Systematically advancing sustainability
At AGROLAB GROUP, we consistently continue our path towards resource-efficient and future-oriented analytical services. A visible sign of this is the expansion of our certified management systems in the areas of environment and energy. More and more sites within the group meet the requirements of internationally recognised standards, underlining that sustainable practices are firmly embedded at AGROLAB.
The further development of these standards is not a side issue for us. It is part of our commitment to combining analytical quality, economic efficiency and responsible use of resources. Our customers and partners can rely on us not only to deliver precise analytical results, but also to continuously improve our internal processes.
Measurable improvement of environmental performance
Ten AGROLAB GROUP sites now meet the requirements of ISO 14001 for environmental management. This standard supports companies in systematically improving their environmental performance, identifying risks at an early stage and reducing environmental impacts in a targeted manner.
The focus is on waste prevention, the conscious use of resources and the continuous optimisation of internal processes. For AGROLAB, this means that responsibility does not end with laboratory analysis. It already begins with the design of efficient processes and extends to the daily handling of energy, materials and operating resources.
Energy efficiency as a concrete contribution to climate protection
AGROLAB GROUP has also made significant progress in the field of energy management. At five sites, a management system in accordance with ISO 50001 has been successfully implemented. The aim of this standard is to systematically record energy use, identify efficiency potential and sustainably reduce consumption.
Especially in a technically demanding environment such as laboratory analytics, the conscious use of energy is a key lever. More efficient processes not only help to conserve resources but also make a tangible contribution to the long-term reduction of CO2 emissions.
Certificates as proof of lived responsibility
For AGROLAB GROUP, these certifications are far more than formal proof. They represent a clear commitment: highly efficient analytical services and ecological responsibility must go hand in hand. This is a key element of our corporate responsibility.
By further expanding our environmental and energy management systems, we are creating the foundation for embedding sustainable improvements within the company over the long term. In this way, we continue to develop our services not only technically, but also with regard to environmental and climate protection.
