AGROLAB achieves top score “B” in the CDP SME Rating

“B/Management” confirms established processes

AGROLAB achieved a “B/Management” rating in the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) questionnaire for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This classification represents the highest possible rating within the CDP SME framework and is awarded exclusively to companies that actively manage environmental and climate protection and systematically integrate it into their business processes.

The rating reflects a clear shift from analysis to operational implementation. It assesses, among other things, structured management approaches, defined responsibilities, traceable processes, and concrete measures to manage environmental and climate-related risks. CDP therefore confirms that at AGROLAB, environmental targets are not only defined, but also consistently underpinned by measurable and verifiable actions.

Climate protection at AGROLAB is therefore not an isolated initiative, but part of corporate governance and the continuous development of existing processes. The “B/Management” rating highlights that environmental and climate protection are addressed systematically and embedded for the long term.

Cross-site commitment

Both AGROLAB Labor GmbH and AGROLAB Italia SRL participated in the current CDP SME rating. The assessment shows that climate protection measures are not limited to individual sites, but are implemented and further developed across locations.

For AGROLAB Labor GmbH, this was a reassessment. Achieving the “B” rating again confirms that the existing environmental and climate management processes are stable and have proven effective compared to the previous year. Continuous assessment makes progress traceable and supports the targeted further development of existing measures.

AGROLAB Italia SRL participated in the CDP SME questionnaire for the first time and immediately achieved the highest rating, “B/Management”, within the SME framework. This result underlines that clear structures and processes for implementing climate protection measures are already in place at the Italian site as well.

Focus on measurable results

For us, participating in CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) is a clear step against greenwashing. CDP does not ask for declarations of intent, but for robust data, traceable structures, and concrete evidence. The assessment focuses on how systematically climate risks are identified and managed—and whether measures are actually implemented.

This commitment to transparency and validity is central to us—even if it means undergoing critical scrutiny and openly identifying areas for improvement.
