Christmas support for paediatric research

This year, AGROLAB Italia has decided to support the Fondazione Città della Speranza, one of Italy’s most important organisations dedicated to paediatric medical research. By purchasing Pandori and Panettoni as part of the foundation’s annual fundraising initiative, a contribution of around €4,500 was made. The donation directly supports research projects that give children with serious illnesses better prospects for the future.

A commitment to children and their families

Since 1994, the Fondazione Città della Speranza has been dedicated to advancing medical research into severe childhood diseases, with a particular focus on oncological and onco-haematological conditions. Its mission is to improve diagnostics, develop new therapies and increase long-term treatment success rates. In doing so, the foundation provides essential support to families facing extremely challenging situations.

A research centre of European significance

The Istituto di Ricerca Pediatrica Città della Speranza in Padua is one of the largest paediatric research centres in Europe. Researchers from biomedicine, bioengineering, genetics and clinical sciences work together on innovative approaches to detect diseases at an early stage and treat them more effectively. The institute is recognised as a pioneer within the European research landscape and generates new scientific insights every year, many of which directly benefit the care of paediatric patients.
