Following the publication by ANSES, the need to better control exposure to cadmium has been confirmed. Present in our environment, it has a direct impact on the food chain, and certain population groups are already overexposed.

Reducing intake, particularly through fertilisers, is essential to limit its accumulation in the soil and its transfer to crops. As a food and environmental analysis laboratory, we support industry stakeholders in monitoring and managing these contaminants. For further information, please refer to the publication.

YOUR PLUS: AGROLAB LUFA GmbH enables you to analyse cadmium in all food matrices – from raw materials to finished products – as well as in mineral fertilisers, all at a single site. Other laboratories within the group can also assist you in measuring other potential sources (soil, water and compost).
