The joint event organised by the GDCh Senior Experts in Chemistry (SEC) group, DECHEMA e. V. and the Science Circle for Genomics and Genetic Engineering (WGG) will take place on 13 November 2025 in Frankfurt.
The will address the topic of ‘Plant protection – securing food supplies – preserving biodiversity’. Among other things, it will explore the question of how effective protection of crops can be ensured against the backdrop of challenges posed by plant diseases, pests and climate change on the one hand, and the fact that balanced plant protection is increasingly becoming the focus of social debate on the other.
Dr. Frank Mörsberger (AGROLAB GROUP) will then report on this, in particular on the extent to which analytical challenges, for example in connection with PFAS such as trifluoroacetic acid (TFA), have been discussed in pesticides.
