The NewPrinces Group will take over five brands and also a production facility in Latina (Italy).
Kraft Heinz Co. has announced a deal to sell its infant and speciality food business in Italy to NewPrinces S.p.A., although the price has not been disclosed. Kraft Heinz described the buyer as “one of the country’s leading food and beverage producers”. The proposed transaction is expected to close at the end of 2025, pending regulatory review and approval. This includes the infant food brands Plasmon, Nipiol and Dieterba, as well as the speciality food brands Aproten and Biaglut. The agreement also covers the purchase of Kraft Heinz’s production facility in Latina, Italy, which employs around 300 people and manufactures products for some of these brands.
