We were there: German Fruit and Vegetable Congress (DOGK)

The German Fruit & Vegetable Congress (DOGK) took place in Düsseldorf on 21–22 September 2026. Our colleague Catarina Mai attended on behalf of AGROLAB GROUP, gaining valuable insights into the sector and connecting with industry professionals.

Representing AGROLAB GROUP, Catarina focused on one key question: What does the fruit and vegetable sector need from a modern laboratory? Listening, asking questions and exchanging ideas offered valuable insights into the sector’s expectations. A highlight was Monday evening’s “Women in Fresh” gathering, where women from across the industry shared experiences, made connections and inspired one another. The evening continued with industry networking and the Fruchthandel Magazin Retail Awards. Congratulations to Alnatura, EDEKA ZENTRALE Stiftung & Co. KG, Lidl in Germany and GLOBUS Markthallen.

The following day brought engaging presentations, interesting exhibitors, lively conversations during the breaks and good food. Catarina’s takeaways: valuable contacts, fresh perspectives and an appreciation for the people behind the companies.Thank you to everyone who took the time to exchange ideas.
