Berlin was the leading trade fair for the global fruit trade from 5 to 7 February, as it is every year, and was able to attract even more international trade visitors and exhibitors to its current edition.

Read the very personal report of our sales representative Imke Kneidl, who also set out for Berlin to take a look around the largest international trade fair for fruit and vegetables.

"I had the wonderful opportunity to visit the Fruit Logistica in Berlin – one of the world's most important trade fairs for the fruit trade. As soon as I entered the halls, I was greeted by an impressive backdrop: colourful stands, exotic fruits from all over the world and a bustling atmosphere that reflected the international importance of this event. Traders, producers and buyers from around the world came together to discover new trends, make contacts and present innovative products. The variety of products on display was particularly impressive: from perfectly ripened tropical fruits to rare varieties, as well as sustainable packaging solutions and the latest technologies for the fruit trade. In addition to the visual highlights and delicacies, there was no shortage of culinary delights either. Fresh fruit snacks, exotic smoothies and creative delicacies were on offer at many stands, tempting the senses and demonstrating the wide range of innovative processing options. All in all, the trade fair was a fascinating experience, offering me not only exciting insights into the world of fruit trading but also impressively demonstrating the global networking of this industry. I was also able to establish interesting business contacts. A visit that was definitely worthwhile!"
