Approval of Pyridalyl shortened by one year

The approval of the active substance Pyridalyl is shortened because the EU Commission has not received an application for renewal of the authorisation.

 

By implementing regulation (EU) 2023/932 of 8.5.23, the EU Commission decided with effect from 30.5.2023 that the approval for the active substance Pyridalyl will expire one year earlier than planned, i.e. already on 30.6.2024, as no application for renewal has been received.

 

Pyridalyl (CAS No.: 179101-81-6) is an insecticide. It has been authorised in the EU since 2014 but has not been used in any plant protection products in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
