Change of Maximum Residue Levels (MRL)
We will provide you with the latest information on changes to maximum residue limits for fruit and vegetables as soon as they are published. However, we refrain from announcing corresponding EU projects.
Fruit and Vegetables: Approval for pesticide actives extended
The validity period for the approval for 25 active substances has been extended due to the delay in the re-evaluation following the application for renewal of the approval.

Maximum permissible levels for 3-MCPD to be lowered further
The EU Commission plans to lower the maximum permitted levels for infant formulae and follow-on formulae and foods for special medical purposes for infants and young children from 1 January 2024.
The German consumer magazine "Ökotest" has examined fish fingers...
... and found higher concentrations of 3-MCPD and glycidyl esters in 11 out of 19 products.
