QS replaces “4-dish inhibitor test” with quantitative analysis by LC MS/MS for antibiotic active substances.

AGROLAB is one of the first feed laboratories in Germany to meet the new requirements in the field of QS feed monitoring. The analysis is carried out in the specialized feed laboratory AGROLAB LUFA GmbH in Kiel.

As of 30.06.2020, QS (Qualität und Sicherheit GmbH) will cancel the “4-dish inhibitor test” for the examination of antibiotic active substances as an approved method within the framework of feed monitoring (Annex 8.2 Table of Limit-/QS Guidance Values). This will be replaced by the quantitative analysis by LC MS/MS on 01.07.2020. In the course of this, QS will also extend the list of antibiotics and coccidiostats to be tested.
